STROLLING & CLOSE-UP MAGIC 

Closeup magic is both informal and personal. I move from one group or locationto another, performing magic with the help of volunteers from each small audience. Cards and other objects mystically appear, disappear, and change right before their eyes - and right in their hands! Perhaps they'll get a chance to test their "psychic powers." And on very rare and truly enchanted occasions, they might even meet the mystical wizard Merlin himself.

I also offer entertainment at a "Magic Table," a style often seen on television. Your guests can easily come and go, and can watch or sit down and participate as they please.

My brand of magic is relaxed and approachable. It appeals to the imagination and focuses on sharing the wonder of the seemingly impossible. It creates comaraderie, and invites the curiosity and comfortable participation of even the most timid or reserved onlookers. Challenges by skeptics in the group are treated as just part of the fun. 

Presentations are paced to build and sustain interest, and are always appropriate for the occasion and audience involved. My primary goal is to enhance your hospitality, and contribute to the overall success of your event.

MAGIC SHOWS 

My repertoire includes a broad variety of sleight-of-hand tricks, mind reading feats, and small-scale illusions for all types of audiences. I can easily customize one or more 15-45 minute magic shows to suit your event and venue. 

My material is both entertaining and in good taste -- and presented in a style that's friendly, interactive and informal. The degree and type of costuming varies, and depends on the requirements of your specific occasion.

In addition to my regular shows, I offer "character" performances. A popular recent addition is my Traveling Medicine Show -- where I drum up some action (and fun!) in the style of a ninteenth century "pitch doctor." 

My shows usually involve volunteers from the audience, and can easily feature special people such as guests of honor, senior management, or your event chairpersons.

I take great care in discussing your particular requirements and preferences with you, and in coordinating my performance with your event staff and other scheduled entertainers.

Unless I'll be using equipment or accessories already in place or specific to your event, I supply everything necessary for my performances, and manage my own setup. I'm a seasoned pro, and don't need any special attention from your event staff.

MAGIC FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES 

While most of my performances are for adult and family audiences, I welcome and enjoy opportunities to entertain young people. Because I relate to their natural curiosity and sense of wonder -- and their healthy skepticism, too -- it's easy to gain their enthusiasm, cooperation and trust.

The magic I produce especially for young people is carefully chosen for their specific ages and the size of their group. I might juggle, teach them a trick or two -- or even make a live rabbit appear from thin air!

Parents, staff and other adults love "watching the watchers" - and enjoy the magic, too. There's lots of interaction, surprises and fun - and photo opportunities are guaranteed! You'll see many examples on my photo page.
